NLL Insider - The adjustment game

by merencio, updated on Sunday, May 01 2016, 10:30 pm EST

Punch me and I'll punch you right back! The Knicks drew first blood, but the Bucks adjusted accordingly and came out firing in Game 2 inside Madison Square Garden.

Now here we are, Game 3 and now the Bucks are at home and have the momentum of the series. The question now is: how will the Knicks adjust back?

The Bucks came out shooting a much better percentage in Game 2 tweaking the lineup so that his starters could play less minutes and his bench could shine and matchup better against a strong Knicks bench.

The Knicks on the other hand have been fairly consistent shooting the ball from 3 in both games, but the key stat that made them falter in Game 2 was the rebounding differential, and it was a substantial one, 51x35 in the Bucks advantage.

While so far the Bucks have adjusted well to the strong team that is New York, it is well known that Tim is one of the smartest GMs around here, and Badwolf has gotta know that a comeback is coming his way with a force.

The next move is a crucial one because it will determine who has the upper hand and breaks the tie to try and take command in the series. If the Bucks win, they could envision going back to MSG at a possible 3-1 with 2 good games at home, and you are New York, you would like to at least split the difference, take one of those games in Milwaukee as payback and not dig themselves a hole.

Both sides have plenty to fight for, so look for a lot of punches to be thrown before this one is over.

Game 3 is close, #teamKAT or #teamSuperman, which side are you on?
