Toronto RaptorsShootingR. VaughnThe Raptors missed out on the playoffs last season and a big reason was their lack of offense and in particular shooting. Dirk did nothing to help them forget about Durant and they lacked the ability to score the ball as a team. With Deron Williams expected to opt-in to the final year of his huge $+21M deal is it time to start thinking of the future? But with MCW on the roster, perhaps a scoring wing would be a better bet so the Raptors take shooting guard Vaughn.
Charlotte HornetsOffenseS. DekkerCharlotte have already selected Porzingis and Booker and they look to continue to bolster their offensive minded player stocks by selecting SF Sam Dekker.
L.A. ClippersEverythingT. RozierTerry Rozier."]">The Clippers look at their 4th pick in the first round. After already securing a new backcourt in Winslow and Mudiay as well as skilled PF in Lyles they now look to get the best available player and are shocked to see another strong athletic guard slip to them in Sophomore Terry Rozier.
New York KnicksBackup PGJ. GrantKyrie Irving and select PG Jerian Grant"]">With a deep team and no real glaring weaknesses the Knicks look to take some insurance for the oft-injured Kyrie Irving and select PG Jerian Grant
Milwaukee BucksGeneral DepthB. PortisDelon Wright but since they took Payne at pick 17 they go for a well rounded big man to add depth to their frontcourt by taking Bobby Portis."]">The Bucks look at big PG Delon Wright but since they took Payne at pick 17 they go for a well rounded big man to add depth to their frontcourt by taking Bobby Portis.
Minnesota T-WolvesRebounding / DefenseR. Hollis-JeffersonNerlens Noel's efforts the T-Wolves were outmatched on the boards all season finishing 2nd worst in this category. A pretty good offensive team already will now be adding star Paul George next season. They just need help on the boards though but with few projected bigs around this pick they are in a bind. Do they trade down, reach or just take the best player available such as Anderson or Hollis-Jefferson? We think this pick gets traded for multiple later picks but for the purpose of the mock we go with R.H.J to bolster the Wolves defensive wing stocks."]">Despite young Nerlens Noel's efforts the T-Wolves were outmatched on the boards all season finishing 2nd worst in this category. 22Dallas MavericksDepthD. WrightThe Mavericks have already got their shooter in Hezonja and big man in Turner so they go for best available prospect who can help now and select Senior combo guard Wright.
Brooklyn NetsEverythingJ. AndersonThere seems to be a common thread to this draft with a few teams having multiple picks. The Nets took Towns at pick 1 but still need help everywhere. They select the best player available in Anderson.
Brooklyn NetsEverythingT. JonesThe Nets tookTowns at pick 1 and swingman Anderson at 23 so they select the best PG available in Jones.
Toronto RaptorsDepthJ. MartinWith Dirk getting on years the Raptors look to take some big man depth in PF Jarell Martin.
L.A. ClippersYouthC. McCulloughSo the Clippers have Mudiay, Winslow, Lyles, Rozier so how about another big? Since they are all about the future why not another freshman in athletic PF McCullough.
Detroit PistonsEverythingK. LooneyThe poor old Pistons. Finished close to dead last and apart from Bledsoe and Horford the cupboards really are bare. They rank last in almost every statistical category. With gaping talent holes at Sf and PF they look to take a young player here in active freshman PF, Kevin Looney.
Denver NuggetsShooting / OffenseR. HunterThe Nuggets made a late playoff push including dealing away their first in exchange for veteran Paul Pierce. They made it but sources now suggest Pierce is on his way out of town so perhaps the Nuggets will look to a younger replacement. Perhaps SG, RJ Hunter could play some 3 but either way most teams could always use some more shooting so they go with RJ.
Cleveland CavaliersBig man DepthL. Nance JrThe Cavs are still really good. They select Senior Larry Nance Jr to give Serge and Drummond the odd rest.
Philadelphia 76ers DepthM. HarrellMontrezl Harrell."]">Sources say Aldridge is exploring his options but we all know the Sixers will make sure he aint going nowhere. With Scola on the wrong side of 30 and Davis also opting out they made need another backup big so they select Montrezl Harrell.
