Milwaukee Bucks guard Russell Westbrook has won this years MVP award. This was one of the closest mvp races in the history of the NLL as he beat out Lebron James by a single vote!

Westbrook finished with 54 votes, which included 8 first place votes. Runner up Lebron James finished right behind with 53 votes and had a surpising just 3 first place votes. Derrick Rose rounded out the top 3 with 49 votes and 7 first place votes despite only playing 50 games for the season.

It's not hard to see why Russ won the award. His numbers were off the chart 31.0ppg 6.1apg 4.0rpg 2.2spg whilst shooting 47% from the field. He really fit what the award stands for most this season as the Bucks would probably had been in the lottery if without Westbrook. He has menat so much the badwolf and this Milwaukee franchise since being drafted into the NLL and it's great to see him finally rewarded.
