NLL Insider - The boy who cried Badwolf

by merencio, updated on Friday, April 29 2016, 05:04 am EST

Alright, we all know the children’s story about the boy who cried wolf, and the funny thing is that  I believe we have a similar kind of story here.

This is not the most publicized or over analyzed angle, may even look like a conspiracy theory, but bear with me.

Mr. Badwolf, the GM of the Milwaukee Bucks has subtly, though publicly, hinted for a good while now that the Knicks are the overwhelming favorites in this playoff series and that the practice sim results haven’t been good at all.  And yet, although they lost, his team just played a contested game on the first bout of this series at the Madison Square Garden.

So what gives?

Well, I have a theory…

Badwolf, often called and rumored to be a real life Sith Lord due to his sometimes extreme and unorthodox trading ways, has been programming GM Dunadan to think this series is over before it began, causing Tim to get a bit more relaxed about his chances and less focused on preparation and strategy because the Knicks are supposedly “huge favorites”. Meanwhile Badwolf would be secretly tweaking his team to find the right combo and strike furiously accompanied by his apprentice (get it?) Russell Westbrook.

Of course, this all sounds like a crazy theory, just a rumor flying around but that’s the kind of thing no one would think about (except me), and that would be the perfect cover-up for his marvelous plan.

Stay tuned for more quality inside coverage (or crazy conspiracy stuff) of this exciting series between two of the top dogs in the entire league!

See you next time!
