With about 3 minutes left, the Sixers created a 5 point lead, but Klay hit a 3 and it became a back and forth contest. Then Lillard burned his defender for an open layup to give the Sixers a 2 point lead with only .9 seconds left. Klay hit the improbable fader off the catch to push it to OT!!! In OT, again the Sixers pushed a 5 point lead late, but Klay picked up his team on his shoulders and tied it back up with 46 seconds left. Neither team could score for 45.9 more seconds, then David Lee, who was abused by Julius Randle all night, ended up hitting a buzzer beater from 18 feet for the win!Lillard deserved POTG honors, with a 36/10/5 night. He tied Klay for leading scorer of the game, but all 5 Sixers starters scored in double figures. |
