and Rookies of the Week for Week 10!
East
POTW – DeMarcus Cousins
DMC has been a stud this season already but Week 10 was a “What the hell?â€
week for the big man. 60% of the 1st place votes went to Cousins as
he beat oou KAT behind averages of 36 points 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5
steals and 1 block on 51% shooting, 63% from deep and 78% from the line. The
big man is going to be trialling moving to the PF spot as of week 11, will it
be as effective? Congratulations DeMarcus Cousins of 3X POTW!
West POTW
– Anthony Davis
The Spurs are 3 games clear with the best record in the league and it
continues to be in no small part due to the complete busting out of The Brow
who with 66% of the 1st place vote, beat of Draymond Green for POTW.
He dropped 32.5 points including a season high 44, while also pulling in 10
points, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals and 2.5 blocks on 63% shooting, 50% from deep
and 85% from the line. Joel Embiid’s debut and already key contributor status
have helped the Spurs immeasurably also, but Brow is their man. Congratulations
Anthony Davis on 4X POTW!
West
ROTW – Jaylen Brown
The Blazers only had a 3 game week in week 10, but Jaylen Brown went
bananas in those games to easily account for Joel Embiid and claim another weekly
award. He averaged 24.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.7
blocks while shooting a near season best 49% from the field and continues blazing
a trail carrying the hopes of a city. Congratulations Jaylen Brown on 5X ROTW!
East
ROTW – Kris Dunn
The
Raptors are struggling through this rebuild year but continued to be buoyed by
their rookie PG and man of the future Kris Dunn who easily beat out Thon Maker
for the weekly award behind arguably his 2nd best week of the season
after Week 1. He averaged 17.3 points, 2.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 0.5 steals
and 0.8 blocks and his season high 49% shooting and season low 1 turnover a
game really highlight that the kid is starting to handle the NLL pace and play.
