Game 1 of 1st vs 8th seed will be played tomorrow in Staples Centre in
Downtown Los Angeles. Lakers stayed healthy and have youngsters Simmons,
Larkin and Baynes in street clothes. They'll use a 12 man rotation,
limiting minutes for all starters but PG Hill.
Reggie Bullock joins
Conley on the pine for Kings with knee injury which means increased role
for veteran James Jones.
It looks like both teams will shoot
straigth in game 1, no big surprises for now. Can the Kings usurp the
home court advantage? This might be their biggest chance. Klemmelo
eagerly watched as Spurs almost took down the heavily favored Nuggets,
but finished just short with a meltdown in last minute. JJ Reddick was
the key there, could Klay repeat that performance?
GM Greenmig
is the big dog here, lazily watching how Kings shape their lineups and
strategies to get an advantage in the game. Will he stick to his guns,
play the best lineups and use the proven strategies? Or could an early
upset lull him into a game of (un)necessary adjustments, where you
either hit or miss?
Kings have the personnel and the fire power,
maybe they just lack chemistry or some coaching know how? NLL is weird
like that sometimes, you can have a superstar or two but never put it
all together, or you rally behind Greens and Hills.
