Week 13 Injury Watch

TEAM INJURIES
Atlanta Hawks OUT - T.J. Warren (Foot), Spencer Dinwiddie (Knee), Jalen Lecque (Waived in NBA), Abdel Nader (Knee), Myles Turner (Ankle), Danuel House (Ankle), Goga Bitadze (Back).

Returned - None

Another injury-plagued week for Atlanta who have lost 6 of their last 8 games. Too much more of this and they might fall out of the top eight.
Brooklyn Nets OUT - Glenn Robinson III (Waived in NBA), Troy Brown (Ankle), DeAaron Fox (Illness), Domantas Sabonis (Back).

Returned - None

Three guys — Brown, Fox and Aabonis — head to IR this week and it'll hurt Brooklyn's depth quite a bit. The Nets still have Curry and Middleton, but the starting center and star 6th man PG is a tough thing to tank.
Boston Celtics OUT — Chris Silva (Waived in NBA).

Returned - None

Silva heads to IR after being waived IRL but he didn't even play in Week 12 when healthy and is averaging less than 7 minutes per game so this isn't a big deal. George Hill would be on the returned list, but he's on another team now.
Charlotte Hornets OUT - David Nwaba (Wrist), Jamal Murray (Knee), Eric Paschall (Hip).

Returned - Jalen Harris (Hip), Daniel Gafford (Ankle).

Getting back Harris won't move the needle much, but Gafford is a solid bench big who's done well in low minutes for the contending Hornets.
Chicago Bulls OUT - Taurean Prince (Ankle), Will Barton (Hamstring), Steven Adams (Toe).

Returned - PJ Washington

All three of Prince, Barton and Adams are new this week to IR but Chicago may not sweat it that much given what this season's goals are. Getting the young PJ Washington back is likely more notable for the Bulls.
Cleveland Cavaliers OUT - Jay Scrubb (Foot), Zach Collins (Ankle), Jaren Jackson Jnr (Knee), Malik Monk (Ankle), Kelly Oubre (Wrist), Deni Avdija (Ankle), Lamar Stevens (Concussion).

Returned - None

Not only did none of the six guys on IR last week return, but the Cavs saw two more names join. The one that hurts the most is likely rookie Deni Avdija who's season is probably done. The young wing played four games this past week but his next in a Cavs uniform will likely come next season.
Dallas Mavericks OUT - Dennis Smith (Knee), Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Knee), Otto Porter (Foot).

Returned - Marvin Bagley III (Hand)

Bagley's return makes it one less on IR as the rest were on it last week. Getting Bagley back will make Dallas' task of staying in third in the west much easier. Smith (who is on the trade block) still being out may keep teams away from trading for him for the moment, but we'll see.
Denver Nuggets OUT - Jonathan Isaac (Knee), Udoka Azubuike (Ankle), Mason Plumlee (Rest), Chris Chiozza (Hand), Mike Conley (Hamstring), Jae Crowder (Ankle).

Returned - None

Conley went out at just the wrong time with a low-level injury to miss this week. Jae Crowder just arrived in Denver via trade but was healthy through his last week in Sacramento. His first week with Denver will be spent on IR, but his return shouldn't be long in the making.
Detroit Pistons Gary Clark (Waived in NBA), D.J. Augustin (Ankle), Bruce Brown (Knee),
Golden State Warriors Bogdan Bogdanovic (Hamstring), Dorian Finney-Smith (Leg), Damion Lee (Illness),
Houston Rockets Tyler Herro (Foot), Josh Hart (Thumb), Jerami Grant (Rest),
Indiana Pacers Serge Ibaka (Back), Wayne Ellington (Rest), Gordon Hayward (Foot), Luka Doncic (Elbow),
LA Clippers Victor Oladipo (Knee), Kevin Huerter (Shoulder), Kemba Walker (Oblique),
LA Lakers Rodney McGruder (Elbow), James Wiseman (Knee), Jeremy Lamb (Knee),
Memphis Grizzlies Terrance Ferguson (Waived in NBA), Grayson Allen (Hand), Monte Morris (Hamstring), Marcos Louzada Silva (Not with team),
Miami Heat Al Horford (Out ), Malik Beasley (Hamstring), Harrison Barnes (Groin),
Milwaukee Bucks Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Foot), Zach LaVine (Illness), Donte DiVincenzo (Toe), Giannis Antetokounmpo (Ankle),
Minnesota Timberwolves Cam Reddish (Achilles), Tyrell Terry (Illness), Larry Nance Jr. (Thumb), Chuma Okeke (Ankle), Avery Bradley (Leg),
New Orleans Pelicans Marquese Chriss (Leg), Klay Thompson (Knee), Mitchell Robinson (Foot), John Wall (Hamstring),
New York Knicks Quinn Cook (Waived in NBA), Donovan Mitchell (Ankle),
Oklahoma City Thunder Kawhi Leonard (Foot), Alex Caruso (Back),
Orlando Magic Thomas Bryant (Knee), DeÁndre Hunter (Knee), Patrick Beverley (Knee), Sterling Brown (Knee), Derrick White (Ankle), Isaiah Hartenstein (Concussion), Nicolas Claxton (Illness), Devin Cannady (Ankle),
Philadelphia 76ers OUT - James Harden (Hamstring), Paul Watson (Knee).

Returned - Damian Lillard (Hamstring), Dwight Howard (Knee)

Harden's continued absence may keep the 76ers out of the top seed in the East for the foreseeable future and maybe for good. Lillard coming back, along with Howard, really helps Philly keep ahead of Charlotte and within striking distance of Milwaukee.
Phoenix Suns Gary Trent Jnr. (Ankle), Kevin Durant (Hamstring), Lauri Markkanen (Illness), Robert Woodard II (Back),
Portland Trail Blazers Anzejs Pasecniks (Waived in NBA), Eric Gordon (Knee), Michael Carter-Williams (Illness), Trey Lyles (Ankle), Matthew Dellavedova (Neck), Jarrett Culver (Ankle), Ignas Brazdeikis (Waived in NBA),
San Antonio Spurs OUT - LaMelo Ball (Wrist), Terrence Ross (Back), Fred VanVleet (Hip).

Returned - Anthony Davis (Calf), Danilo Gallinari (Ankle), Markieff Morris (Ankle).

IT'S HERE. The long-anticipated return of Anthony Davis is here and the Spurs will get Gallinari and Morris back as well. LaMelo just missed out on making his return this week, but should be back next time. The only thing that spoils this week is losing VanVleet (and Ross).
Sacramento Kings OUT - Dylan Windler (Knee), Cory Joseph (Ankle).

Returned - Gabriel Deck (Not With Team), George Hill (Thumb).

Joseph is another guy who went out at just the wrong time with an injury-management absence, but the Kings do get two guys back. Hill just arrived via trade and got off IR just in time to make the presumed start at PG. Deck is now with his IRL team and will likely also see time in his first week.
Toronto Raptors OUT - Mike Muscala (Ankle), Alec Burks (Illness), Jordan Bell (Waived in NBA), Chris Boucher (Knee).

Returned - None

Two more names go on with Bell getting waived and Boucher going down. The Raptors are also reeling with LMA recently retiring.
Utah Jazz OUT - Markelle Fultz (Knee), Nate Darling (Ankle).

Returned - Justise Winslow (Quad), Pascal Siakam (Rest)

Utah's playoff hopes are fading fast and Siakam being healthy for as many weeks as possible will be huge if any playoff push is going to happen. Winslow too needs to be around to bolster depth.
Washington Wizards OUT - Gary Payton II (Waived in NBA).

Returned - Robert Williams (Knee), Evan Fournier (Illness).

The Wizards are now pretty much completely healthy. Losing Payton isn't good news per se, but not a huge loss. There are rumblings that he could sign a rest-of-the-season contract, but not right away.
