The newly instated apbrametrics will take full effect with the up-coming draft. GM Breece had this to say on the hiring, 'Obviously James brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that has been lacking from the Miami Heat organisation, and hopefully he is able to turn HeatBall into some real MoneyBall'. Journalists were seen to let out a short chuckle.

Also with Chief Scout Phileas Fogg, they have been observing key talent hotspots around the world with the target of selecting the creme dela' creme of the next generation of basketballers. In a fleeting trip - Fogg and James have bounced between all of the top 10 ranked FIBA nations. From Sunny Spain through to Sunny Australia. Word has it that Fogg and James have shortlisted a number of prospects to slot into the Heat.

Fogg and James hope to build a squad 'much like the well-manufactured, multi-award winning, multi-linguial singer, writer, musician and producer Enya', the Miami Heat are stepping up during the off-season and looking through all corners of the world for pieces to rebuild their current aging list.

GM Breece has no issue in changing things up in the organisation.
