Kawhi Leonard

PER 36.37

MVP

-
The 76ers won all four games last week, and Kawhi was the main reason why. He has stepped his game up recently, +7.2 points, +0.9 steals, +0.6 blocks, and -0.6 on turnovers. He was the top scorer in 3 of the 76ers 4 games with a season high 44 points against the Miami Heat. leonard was player of the game in three of the Sixers four games. His 44 point game was against the Miami Heat, and he was matched up against P.J. Tucker. His rebounds -0.5, assists -1.3, and three point percentage -0.04% were all down compared to his season average.

James Harden

PER 37.79

MVP

-
James Harden stepped up in the points department last week, he averages 21.7 per game on the season, but we saw him light it up last week and end up averaging 26.5 points per game. He also shot 60% from downtown and 61% from the field. He scored at least 30 points in three of the Knicks four games. Meanwhile he is casually grabbing 4.8 rebounds and dishing out 8.3 assists per game. This guy did it all last week, and he did it well. The Knicks won three games, beating the Pacers, Bulls, and Thunder.Harden and the Knicks lost to the Bucks. Now the Bucks are a good team, but so are the Knicks, so a 13 point loss looks kind of ugly. He got outplayed by Jeremy Lamb of the Pacers, scoring 15 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists to Jeremy's 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals.

Brook Lopez

PER 14.47

MVP

-
Brook Lopez is doing his own thing, on his own time. Last week he came off the bench and put up a solid stat line. 22 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks, all this in 26 minutes off the bench. These stats are probably better than what he was doing in Minnesota as a starter, in 7 less minutes per game. Lopez seems to eat up the bench competition. He had a 29 point 10 rebound game against the Clippers, and a 20 point 12 rebound game against the Hawks. The Celtics also won 4 out of 5 games. While he is putting up good numbers, he is going up against a lot of bench quality players. This might just be a brilliant move on Jmacs part. He had a 12 point game against the Mavs where he only managed to grab 3 rebounds in 23 minutes. He also only grabbed 4 rebounds in 28 minutes against the Timberwolves in a game they lost. He could have been the difference maker in that game as the Twolves had +7 in rebounds.

Kevin Durant

PER 30.91

MVP

-
Durant is the face of the Boston Celtics. The Celtics played five games last week and Durant was the leading scorer in four of those games. Including 34 points on the road against both Atlanta and Minnesota. He even had a 14 rebound game against the Clippers and 13 rebound game against the Hawks. Thats why you see his rebounding average up from 7.6 season average to 10.0 last week. The Celtics also won 4 out of 5 games, mainly due to Kevin Durant.Kind of hard to find a reason not to vote for him. His assists and blocks were down. They lost to the Twolves, but they are a formidable team, and was going up against Paul George.

Jahlil Okafor

PER 4.19

MVP

-
Okafor went from injured reserve to player of the week candidate. His numbers are pretty similar to his season average last week, maybe he is getting rid of the rust? 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists per game is decent for a big man with only one year experience. Okafor dropped 24 points and 10 boards on the Rockets. He also had an 18 point, 8 point game in the Pelicans only win this week against the Pacers. His stats arent just really comparable to the other players. The Pelicans dropped three of their four games, only managing to win against the Pacers. Okafor only had one double-double last week. Not good enough to win player of the week, but welcome back kid!

Carmelo Anthony

PER 13.77

MVP

-
The new look Kings won all four of their games last week. Carmelo Anthony was the leading scorer in all four of those games. So far his numbers as a King are pretty even with how he played on the Wizards. He did shoot 42% from downtown for the Kings, thats a lot better than his 28% from downtown while on the Wizards. He scored 30 points twice, and in the games where he only scored 27 and 24 points, he grabbed 10 rebounds. They beat Chicago, Orlando, Minnesota, and Utah.Melo was only player of the game in one of their four wins. Out of the four wins, none of the teams were in the 40 win category. Most of them are hovering between the lottery and playoffs.

Paul George

PER 31.35

MVP

-
The Twolves won three of their four games, and George was the leading scorer for two of those games. Two of their wins were against top teams, a win over the Thunder and the Celtics show that the Twolves shouldnt be taken lightly. His averages of 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists are decent. His move to power forward didnt really do much to his stats. His assists were down -2.2, and his field goal percentage also dropped from 49% to 41%. He wasnt player of the game in any of the Twolves games. You know who was, Taj Gibson.
