Brandon is a Buck

Brandon is a Buck
Bucks have been trying to add some depth at wing position, just i case some injury devastates the bench depth. But those guys, 10th-12th type veteran guards on expiring deals, with little chance to stick to their team enxt season are obviously in high demand in NLL and it's impossible to get them short of dealing a prospect or regular rotation player.
Bucks finally struck a deal with Indiana, who acquired Brandan Rush as a free agent in late December, after he went unsigned. Rush is enjoying a bit of renaissance in NBA, where he's currently starting for the champions Warriors and doing a solid job of it, as a starter he's getting 7 points on 50% from the field and from three. he only played a minute for Indiana as they prefer to invest heavily in the likes of Tim Hardaway Jr. GM SHeed complained Rush took to many dumb shots and didn't play team ball.

Rush was an athletic wing player, that got an injury or two to his knee ligaments. he was a marginal player in last few seasons, but bounced back this year. He's going to fight Gordon and Lavine for minutes at either wing position. the team wants him to hit a three when called upon, guard his man,  and not take a to big role on the offense.

Bucks have a lot of guards fighting for limited minutes at 1-3 spot. Currently the CamPayne as a backup PG experiment is running. Vaughn lost his spot in rotation in spite of solid performances and could be reinserted soon. Lavine is the incumbent leader of the second unit, Gordon and Gortat play in the front court. So where does Rush fits in? Could he push The Air force boys (zach and Arron) to the bench? Rush will get a few minutes here and there, depending on his play in scrimmages, but he's mainly an injury insurance. For now.

GM Wolf said he tried to get a few other guys that could fit with the team, including some former Bucks, but no inquiry came close. Are the Bucks now out of the wing hunt? Maybe, there ares till rumours about advanced talks involving Nurkic for a young wing, with front office reluctant to give up on the promising young center. Juka will get a few minutes this week to ease himself into rotation.

Any Gortat trade talks are dead for now, the team is doing to well with him. Marcin is dealing with some knee issues, but those shouldn't be a concern for now.
