Week 10 Injury Watch

TEAM INJURIES
Atlanta Hawks Markelle Fultz (Shoulder), Alexis Ajinca (Knee), Justin Patton (Toe), DeAndre Bembry (G-League),

Beasley returns from a elbow this week but is likely to see little playing time with the logjam Atlanta has at the guard positions. Fultz closing in on a return after entering final phase of rehabilitation with exact date yet to be announced. Ajinca, Patton and Bembry haven't played big minutes and figure not to hurt the team too much with them being out
Brooklyn Nets Cameron Payne (Foot), A.J. Hammons (G-League), Danilo Gallinari (Buttocks), Caris LeVert (Groin),

Getting Fox back really helps the Nets second unit but losing LeVert takes away a bit of shooting guard depth. Still waiting for Gallo to get off his ass and be a big time contributor for this team
Boston Celtics Jeff Withey (Waived in NBA), Mike James (Waived in NBA), Kevin Durant (Calf),

Losing one of the better players in the league in Durant hurts but this team has the depth to cover it and as long as the injury doesn't linger throughout the year and with Bradley returning helps cover it. James and Withey getting waives hurts depth but weren't big contributors
Charlotte Hornets Frank Jackson (Foot), Harry Giles (Knees), Ike Anigbogu (G-League),

Giles still working his way towards his NBA debut and Jackson continues to nurse a foot injury. No big losses here
Chicago Bulls Damian Jones (CD), Dewayne Dedmon (Leg), Omri Casspi (Ankle),

Massive plus for the Bulls with one of the best players in league returning in Steph Curry, aids their climb up the standings in a big way. Scott and Brussino return adds depth but its all about Steps for the Bulls
Cleveland Cavaliers Terrence Ross (Knee), Tony Allen (Knee), Andrew Harrison (Shoulder),

Ibakas return from suspension lets the Cavs keep rolling. Cavaliers eagerly waiting on the return of Ross to slot into 5th starter/6th man role and Allen as a defensive pest.
Dallas Mavericks Paul Millsap (Wrist), Alex Abrines (Groij),

Mavs fans will be happy with the return of starting point guard, Lonzo Ball. Millsap looking at a return around the all-star break at the earliest
Denver Nuggets Jonathan Isaac (Ankle), Nerlens Noel (Thumb), Troy Williams (Knee), Alfonzo McKinnie (G-League), Andre Roberson (Knee),

Nuggets pulled off a trade which has landed them two injured players in Noel and Isaac to add depth. Robersons defensive presence will be missed but shouldn't be gone for too long with a bum ankle. Williams and McKinne not major contributors
Detroit Pistons Jabari Parker (Knee), Jon Leuer (Ankle), Alan Williams (Knee), Tyler Lydon (G-League), Derrick Jones Jr. (Waived in NBA), Cody Zeller (Knee), DJ Wilson (CD), Bruno Caboclo (G-League), Jared Dudley (Illness),

The Pistons injury list is extensive and saps them of depth. Zeller still working his way back from knee surgery, Dudley will be back soon as he recovers from illness and Williams still a while away with that knee injury. Others are only fringe rotation players
Golden State Warriors All players healthy and well
Houston Rockets Isaiah Thomas (Hip), Mindaugas Kuzminskas (Waived in NBA), Timothy Hardaway (Leg), Dion Waiters (Ankle),

Rockets eagerly waiting on the return of IT3 to boost the offence which is imminent. Hardaway is inching closer to a return with he himself aiming for around the 17th of Jan. Waiters still assessing options on his ankle
Indiana Pacers Marcus Morris (Knee),

Pacers lose a solid player in Morris but with no other injury concerns they are sitting pretty
LA Clippers DAngelo Russell (Knee), Victor Oladipo (Knee), Ante Zizic (G-League),

Clippers staff and their fans eagerly waiting on debut of their new star Oladipo but first needs to get the knee right and Russell hopes to build chemistry as they rehab knees together
LA Lakers Rodney McGruder (Leg), Damyean Dotson (CD), Nikola Vucevic (Hand),

Its all about Vucevics hand here for the lakers, losing a top 15 player in the NLL is never easy to cover and they hope the rehab all goes well
Memphis Grizzlies Dante Exum (Shoulder), Raul Neto (Concussion),

Exum continues to rehab his shoulder and Neto is a coverable loss for the Grizz. Move along, nothing to see here
Miami Heat Dorian Finney-Smith (Knee),

No one worth mentioning on this list
Milwaukee Bucks Zach LaVine (Knee), Iman Shumpert (Knee),

LaVine still yet to be seen this season and still working through practices and a return could be in on the horizon. Shumpert not far away
Minnesota Timberwolves Justise Winslow (Knee), Jeff Teague (Knee), Isaiah Canaan (Hamstring),

No return set for Winslow yet, Teague 2 - 4 weeks away from stepping back on the court and Moore expected to take on a heavier burden. Canaan with a minor hamstring complaint
New Orleans Pelicans Chinanu Onuaku (G-League), Reggie Jackson (Ankle), Caleb Swanigan (G-League), Chandler Parsons (Knee),

Having their two highest paid players out hurts with Parsons and Jackson. Following the trade of Len looks like these injuries will help the Pels in their rebuild
New York Knicks Luc Mbah a Moute (Shoulder), Nene Hilario (Undisclosed), James Harden (Hamstring),

Harden not being available is a big blow for the Knicks, depth will cover the Mbah a Moute and Nene but losing a potential MVP candidate hurts but it isn't too serious and hopefully id back in the next two weeks for the Knicks
Oklahoma City Thunder Juan Hernangomez (Illness), Zhou Qi (G),

Georges return is a plus for the power house Thunder. They have the depth to cover the losses of the other two fringe players
Orlando Magic Tony Bradley (G-League), Danny Green (Groin),

Danny Greens injury hurts but super sub Jeremy Lamb can cover it. Bradley is not a needle mover
Philadelphia 76ers Isaiah Whitehead (G-League), Rudy Gobert (Knee),

3 huge returns for the 76ers this week with Leonard, Lillard and Lopez all coming back and straight back into the starting line up. Hopefully this is the start of some consistency for the fans in Philly
Phoenix Suns Glenn Robinson III (Ankle), Davon Reed (Knee), Gordon Hayward (Ankle),

Hayward still rehabbing the ankle with whispers of a playoff return. Newly acquired GR3 still rehabbing the ankle injury that has kept him out all season. Reed still not contributing
Portland Trail Blazers Brandon Knight (Knee), Justin Anderson (Shin), Furkan Korkmaz (G-League), Brice Johnson (G-League), Rudy Gay (Heel), Thomas Bryant (G-League), Austin Rivers (Achilles),

Brown back playing is a welcome sight and can try to cover the NLL darling Rudy Gay who has been tremendous this season and integral for this Blazers team. Anderson would be handy depth but is still out and Rivers not playing will sap the Blazers of some depth. They could be in for a rough week here
San Antonio Spurs Patrick Beverley (Knee), Mike Conley (Achilles), Stanley Johnson (Hip), T.J. Warren (Illness),

The arrival of Smart will help cover the Mike Conley old man injury with the achilles. Johnson and Warren missing in the same week really hurts the small forward and shooting guard depth they will be hoping those injuries don't linger for too long
Sacramento Kings Medical rooms nice and empty for the Kings
Toronto Raptors Solomon Hill (Hamstring),

With the returns of Dunn and Johnson the Raptors nearly sit at full strength. Hill will be a handy role player once his long recovery is done and dusted
Utah Jazz Derrick Rose (Ankle), LaMarcus Aldridge (Rest), Chris McCullough (G-League),

Rose continues to be out and might be for the rest of the year. Aldridge being rested hurts the offensive firepower of the Jazz and pushes Cauley-Stein into big minutes but they should be able to withstand the loss
Washington Wizards Seth Curry (Leg), Jeremy Lin (Knee), Cristiano Felicio (G-League), Frank Mason (Heel),

Still waiting for NLL minutes from Lin and Curry. The return of Green to the starting line up helps balance this roster out
