Roziers Review

Its that time again, where our main man Terry Rozier has blessed us with another one of his highly regarded movie reviews.

After the last one, Terry felt bad for how harsh he was on Will Smith, so he gave him another go and watched the 2016 drama Collateral Beauty. Smith starring alongside Kate Winslet, Kiera Knightly, Michael Pena, the hulk himself, Edward Norton and the beuaty, Helen mirren. It is a star studded cast which would get the audiences attention if nothing else.

IMDB’s storyline : When a successful New York advertising executive suffers a great tragedy, he retreats from life. While his concerned friends try desperately to reconnect with him, he seeks answers from the universe by writing letters to Love, Time and Death. But it's not until his notes bring unexpected personal responses that he begins to understand how these constants interlock in a life fully lived, and how even the deepest loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.

Rozier went on to say “ I know i had previously said I think the game might have passed Will Smith by, and I'm not retreating from that. In this movie he was quite good, some moments throughout that thought popped back into my mind, but overall he was really solid.

Helen Mirren is great in this, and all the supporting cast do a really good job. I'm a big Michael Pena fan too. i was impressed by a young kid Jacob Latimore too.

Ill try not to spoil anything, but after Will Smiths is going through extremely hard times, his focus leaves his successful company. His colleagues and friends do what they feel right to help him, themselves and the company.

I ‘Will’ say there are even a few plot twists for all you M. Night Shyamalan fans out there. This was a great change of pace and a movie, once finished I was glad i had watched.
