A winning record? What?

A winning record? What?

Warning:  The following story is a fiction. Any resemblance to real or fantasy life should be taken with a grain of…let’s go with SALT.

Is this real life?

Once upon a time, in a fantasy league far far into the Topsy Turvey land, about 5 miles after the Twilight Zone, there was a franchise called the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz, as they liked to be called, had to go on a journey along a mysterious, unpredicted, frightening pathway called The Great Salt Freeway. What was there destination, their goal, you ask? They wanted to get somewhere called the Winning Record Town.

You see, the Winning Record Town was like a mirage for the Utah Jazz, and though they started the season thinking there was such a place, the scary monsters residing in Topsy Turvey land consistently hid that place and said that we would never find it. Big Bad Monsters like Ivica Zubac (not the Pokemon, that’s Zubat), JaVale McGee, Henry Ellenson, Boban Marjanovic (or the Bobinator, as he is called in folk tale), Rudy Gay, and the worst of them all, Alex Len!!!

Despite the obstacles, the monsters, the mirages, the Utah Jazz then continued to try and persist on their goal of reaching said town and eventually, through sheer determination and resilience, they finally did!!

It was their 6th week of the journey, after rotting and starving in a place where there was nothing but salt, bias, BS, skepticism, and doubt, the Jazz finally got to the town they so desired and there they found the number of battles they had won, 12 and lost 11, from where they started, this was already considered a success.

About the current state of the mental state of mind of the Jazz and our brave warriors?

Oh, it has been tested alright, because after being and looking at what they are, the think they deserve to get to another place, another big city, the famous Playoffs City which is right next to Titletown. Oh, how the Jazz wish to visit those cities someday, then again, they might be mirages as well.

The monsters will keep on coming, and we’ll be here to try and slay them.
