PLAYOFFS!

Its been a long long time NLL, but the Washington Wizards made it into the Playoffs. Last time we seen the Wizards in the Playoffs was back during the 2010-2011 season, where they entered as the seventh seed and went all the way to win the championship. "Its very very sweet to be in the playoffs this year. When i first took over the Wizards we would make the playoffs every year. Then we won our championship in 2010-2011, and i decided to blow it up. Well after years of that destruction, we have finally made it back and it feels even sweeter than all those years in the past. We are going to enjoy it as much as possible, and try to win some games!" said GM Darko. To give some perspective of how long its been, nearly half the Washington Wizards roster weren't even in the league the last time the Wizards made the playoffs. Yes its been a while, and the fans of DC are going to enjoy every minute of this. Home games in Washington have already sold out, so unless you are going to be paying insane prices to scalpers, fans are being told to watch games on the internet seen at twitch.com.
LETS GO!

So the Wizards made the playoffs, but they are going up against the number one seed in the east, the Philadelphia 76ers. The last time these teams went head to head was during the Wizards 2010-2011 playoff run where the Wizards swept the 76ers as the underdog (yes i went there). But this time its not going to be easy, in fact the Wizards are looking to be swept this time. But Darko and his boys are fighting hard. We have already seen the Wizards narrowly lose to the 76ers in game one by two points in overtime. The Wizards were playing great for three quarters, but the 76ers came back in the forth to take the lead. A clutch basket by Klay Thompson took the game into overtime, but thats when the 76ers proved to be too much. With the game time and seconds running down it was Damian Lillard with a driving layup who scored as time expired. The Wizards just couldnt close the deal. So game two is very close, GM Darko made a couple adjustments, and hopefully the players will continue to play hard.
