We Made The Playoffs!

It's been 7 long years since GM DazMan32 made his one and only playoff appearance.

So he's excited to be back.

That's right, the Bulls have done the unthinkable. After winning just 19 games a season ago, the Bulls were able to win 42 games this season, finish above .500 for the first time since that 2010 season, and most importantly secure a playoff berth.

So how did they do it?

Steph Curry was simply amazing, Robin Lopez had a career year. And both played in all 82 games.

Thabo Sefolosha was the glue that held the team together, Buddy Hield and Dragan Bender made important rookie contributions, and Dirk Nowitzki arrived at just the right time, to help finish off the season.

And let's not forget the early season contributions of now former Bulls, Mike Scott, Trevor Booker and Evan Turner who really helped get this team off to a good start.

It was so important that the Bulls had a strong season, with the Bulls 1st round pick yet again in another team's hands, the Bulls didn't want to face another season without playoffs and without a lottery pick to show for it.

I think most Bulls fans would call this season a success.

However, it gets difficult from here.

The Bulls finished 7th in the east, which means a first round matchup against the hottest team in the league, the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks finished off the season with a lazy 17 wins in a row. They are also the number 1 ranked team on offense and defense according to 2K. The Bulls would have preferred to play any other team in the conference, as confirmed by GM DazMan32.

"It was a great season, don't get me wrong. And it's great to be in the playoffs, most of all for the Chicago faithful, that have stuck by us. But gee wiz, we have a tough time of it now."

He continued.

"The Bucks were the one team we didn't want to play. We have beaten the Sixers, Cavs, Wizards and Nets this season. We have beaten the Knicks and Celtics in recent seasons. I don't even remember ever beating the Bucks. Perhaps in 2010 we may have gotten one. This team has been a bogey team for us ever since I entered the league. And this latest incarnation, with Russel, Karl and Giannis is definitely the scariest one yet."

"Don't get me wrong, we have weapons of our own, and I feel like if Steph and Dirk both have hot shooting nights, we can certainly win one. But lets just say, we will celebrate that win very hard."

The GM is certainly not confident, but it is the playoffs after all, so who knows what will happen.

It's just great to be back!
