We caught up with Grizzlies Point Guard and young Aussie Dante Exum, after competing in the Rising Star Match over All Star Weekend in New Orleans.

Dante, run us through your experience of the All Star Weekend.

It was amazing. I always love working with Chris Bosh and this weekend was like that times 10. So many legends of the game and superstars around and they are all for the most part happy to chat. I was like a sponge. I just wanted to take on board as much as I could. It was a priceless experience and I really hope it can help my game and I can pass some of the knowledge on to my other young team mates.

Marquese Chriss was there as well, run us through your thoughts on him as a player?

Marquese is great. He is the most athletic guy ive ever seen and he showed that on the weekend, when he was very unlucky to not win the Dunk Contest. He is great for us, he has a winning mentality and is putting up great stats for us. I love just being able to dump it into him and let him do his work in the post. He is also hitting his jump shots. He is giving the Memphis fans plenty to be excited about for the future.

Finally, with the trade deadline approaching, how is the feeling in the camp?

It is good. This is a business, we all know that. We are in a rebuild process and pieces will be moved, ive seen lots of guys be moved on and we know that no one is safe. We are in the hands of the GM and he is doing a great job. I love Memphis and I want to be here when the success comes. I canâ€™t wait for whats ahead and I really want to develop my game to help this franchise be very successful.
