New Orleans, LA - The 2017 All-Star weekend festivities continued with the Slam Dunk Challenge. Four contestants from across the league were brought in to showcase their rim-rocking talents: Zach Lavine of the Raptops, Malik Beasley of the Hawks, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson of the Mavs and Marquese Chriss of the Grizzlies.

Round 1
Lavine started off with an acrobatic dunk that sent him over four crouching "players". The dunk itself wasn't spectacular, but the leap was. Zach received a 43 for the effort.
Chriss lobbed the ball up and slammed it down with authority for a 43 to match his predecessor.
Hollis-Jefferson took the ball through his legs, windmilling it through the far side of the bucket for a 40. Score should have been a bit higher.
Beasley juked putting the ball through his legs, touching it with the off hand, before powering it down. He too had a score of 40.

Round 2
Lavine's second dunk was a very safe lob to a two handed dunk, earning him a 41.
Chriss threw down a lob-to-left hand dunk for 43 points that seemed to defy physics.
Hollis-Jefferson copied Beasley's previous dunk and it earned him a matching score of 40.
Beasley jammed down a double pump windmill that only earned him 39.

Final Round
Zach Lavine's final dunk needed to be a doozy to give him a chance. It was a trick shot where the ball was passed off the stanchion. It wasn't worth the 47 he earned for it.
Chriss did a lob-to-360 dunk that earned him a 43... it was as good as Lavine's, but the judges thought otherwise.
Rondae's final dunk was a pose dunk with elevation. It reasonably earned a 42.
Beasley whipped the ball between his legs and put it home left handed. The dunk didn't impress and he earned a lowly 37.
